message.</b></font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Top Dog comes with a built in set of actions that you can have Top Dog take when a message arrives.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">These actions are used in combination with <a href="../RulesTab.htm" target="_top">Rules</a> once a <a href="../TestsTab.htm" target="_top">Test</a> has been completed and a message passes the test you can have Top Dog do one of eight things to the message.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> You can also combine actions using a Combination Action if you want more than one thing done to the message. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> Click on the Actions on the panel to the left for more information on specific actions that Top Dog can apply to a message.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b><br> Actions Tab</b></font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This tab is where you create the rules that determine what rules Top Dog applies to incoming messages. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The List on the left hand side of the tab is your list of actions. If you have just started to use Top Dog you may not have any actions defined. You can create new actions by pressing the "<i>New action</i>" button beneath the list.<br> </font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">When you press the "<i>New action</i>" button a window will appear allowing you to choose what type of action you would like to create. If you click on a action type an explanation of the action will appear to the right.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Most of the contents of this tab are dependent on the type of action currently selected on the action list on the left.<br> Click on the links on the contents frame for an explanation of what actions are available and what they do.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The only other common item on this tab is the <i>Description of action</i> box.
