Spam Hound

The Subject Lines Tab allows you to tell Spam Hound how to treat email with known subject lines.

Approved Subject Lines

Spam Hound keeps a list of subject lines that are whitelisted (pre-approved).
If someone send you an email with a subject line that is whitelisted then that email is always allowed through.

Edit List of Approved Subject Lines...

You can manually add, edit or delete items from this list using this Button

As with all lists, you can also specify wildcards in your list of subject lines.

Note: Spam Hound ignores any "re:" or "fwd:" that may appear at the beginning of the subject line of incoming messages.

Banned Subject Lines.

Spam Hound also keeps a list of blacklisted subject lines that you never want to receive.
When you categorize and email as commercial spam Spam Hound automatically blacklists the subject line.
This way if you receive spam with the same subject line in the future Spam Hound will know that you are not interested in reading it.
The Spam Hound will send mail with banned subject lines to the Doghouse, this will give you a chance to change your mind later.
