sans-serif">The Email Content Tab allows you to screen email using phrases.</font></b></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Spam Hound keeps several lists of phrases that you can choose to use to screen email.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Content screening is generally not a good idea since it can lead to legitimate email being mistaken for spam.<br> For example if someone emails you that they graduated "summa <i>cum</i> laude" they are not being crude.<br> However, combined with <a href="../../SpamProtection/WhitelistsFrame.htm" target="_self">whitelists</a> it can be very effective.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">You can choose to use the provided phrase lists, disable them, or edit them to suit your liking.<br> In any case <a href="../../SpamProtection/WhitelistsFrame.htm" target="_self">whitelisted</a> email are exempt from content screening.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">As with all phrase lists you can add phrases with <a href="../WildCardsFrame.htm" target="_self">wildcards</a> to any of these lists.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">If enabled, un-whitelisted mail found with these phrases in them will be sent to the <a href="../StatusTabFrame.htm">Doghouse</a>.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><br> <a name="CheckContentGroupBox"></a><a name="LitePornoCheckBox"></a><b>Send Mail with Pornographic content to the Doghouse.</b></font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This is a list of phrases that have a sexual meaning and can be considered pornographic in nature, or are often found in pornographic advertising.<br> They are crude phrases that one would not normally use when simply discussing subjects of a sexual or biological nature.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> <br> <b> <a name="LiteSexCheckBox"></a>Send Mail with Sexual content to the Doghouse. <br> </b><br> This is a list of words that have a sexual meaning or refer to sexual body parts. <br> Unlike pornographic phrases they are NOT necessarily crude.</font></p>
